GOOD TATTOOS. GOOD COMPANY.

The party details.

Here’s what I ask of hosts and guests so we can spend the day making good tattoos instead of sorting out surprises.

Have a question about any of it? Include it in your inquiry. I’m happy to explain how it applies to your party.

Booking, tattoos & the space

I want your party to feel relaxed. These are the ground rules that make it safe and manageable for everyone.

Reservation deposit and booking

Reach out at least 30 days before your requested date. Your inquiry is not a reservation. After we agree on the date and party details, a $250 nonrefundable reservation deposit confirms it. That deposit covers the reservation and planning; individual tattoos are paid separately.

Guest signup list and tattoo spots

You do not need a final headcount to inquire or reserve your party. Once booked, the host can collect the names of guests who want tattoos. Names are the only thing needed on the signup list. We’ll check the list together around 14 days before the event to plan timing; I’ll review individual tattoo ideas and prices separately. Signups can continue if space allows. Adding a name is a request, not a guaranteed tattoo; I’ll confirm what fits the scheduled party time.

The host shares the names-only list with me directly. Please leave contact information, tattoo ideas, and medical information off the shared sheet. Each guest completes their own private intake and consent paperwork.

Tattoo pricing and design limits

Party tattoos start at $50 each. That is the minimum, not a fixed price for every design. Price depends on the size, detail, placement, color, and amount of time needed. We’ll stick to tattoos that make sense for a group setting. Large custom pieces, complicated cover-ups, and designs needing a longer consultation should be booked as their own appointments. I do not tattoo feet or intimate areas.

Who can get tattooed

Everyone being tattooed must be at least 18, bring valid government-issued photo ID, and complete their own intake and consent paperwork. I won’t tattoo someone who is impaired or unable to give informed consent. I may also decline or postpone a tattoo if I have a health, skin, placement, or safety concern.

Party timing and late arrivals

We agree on the party hours before booking. Please have guests arrive with enough time to check in and get settled. Coming late doesn’t extend the event, and I can’t promise to squeeze in extra tattoos if the schedule fills up.

Food, drinks and the tattoo station

Food, nonalcoholic drinks, and celebrating are welcome in the designated guest space. Food and drinks stay out of the tattoo area so the setup remains sanitary. Alcohol may be present only if we agree on the event setup in advance, and no one will be tattooed while impaired.

Keeping the space comfortable

Please let me know about decor, accessibility, or other setup requests ahead of time. Guests need to respect the artists, other guests, equipment, and shared space. I may pause or end tattooing if harassment, unsafe behavior, or sanitation issues make it necessary. The host is responsible for sharing the party expectations before guests arrive.

Rescheduling or canceling

One reschedule is available with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability and a mutually agreed new date within 90 days of the original date. If the host cancels, doesn’t show, or needs to change the date with less than 14 days’ notice, the $250 deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to book another date.

If I need to cancel

If I need to cancel and we can’t agree on a reasonable replacement date, you can choose to move the reservation deposit to an agreed new date or have it refunded.

If we’re promoting the event together

This part applies to public or co-promoted tattoo parties. Private parties don’t include a public marketing campaign.

Sharing the promotion

For a co-promoted event, we agree on who is creating graphics, posting, and answering event questions before announcing anything. Depending on the plan, LoveJoy may add a website listing, one main or collaboration post, up to two Story reminders, and reposts of useful host content. Paid ads, full campaign management, and event photo or video production are not included unless we arrange them separately.

What the host shares

Please send accurate event details and usable graphics with enough lead time for us to promote. You’ll share the event with your own audience too. A shared event works best when we’re both telling people about it.

Credit and public pricing

Public posts about tattooing should credit Jessica LoveJoy / @amoajessie and LoveJoy Market. Advertise prices as “tattoos start at $50” or “$50 tattoo minimum.” Please don’t promise fixed $50 tattoos, unlimited work, a guaranteed spot, a special discount, or a specific design unless I’ve approved it. We only announce the event after the details are approved and the reservation deposit is paid.

Attendance and results

We’ll each handle the promotion we agree to, but neither of us can guarantee a certain turnout, sales total, or social reach. Guest signup requests are still reviewed against the actual tattoo time available.
